Event - Alton Castle Residential

13 to 15 October 2014

On Wednesday 15th October 2014 the children in Year 6 arrived back from an exciting three day residential trip to Alton Castle Catholic Retreat Centre in Staffordshire.

While on retreat, the children had a wonderful experience and enjoyed taking part in a wide range of outward bound activities, such as trekking, mountain-biking and survival, showing tremendous enthusiasm, energy and determination throughout.

The Alton Castle activity leaders commented on how prayerful and spiritual the children were as a group, especially during the memorable acts of collective worship we shared together.

On returning to school everyone was in agreement that the trip was a thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience!
