On Wednesday 23rd October, we enjoyed a ‘Vocations Day’ at St. Mark’s School. To celebrate this day, we learnt what a vocation is and how God calls each and every one of us to follow our vocation. We dressed up as something we inspire to be and what we believe our vocation is.
We were visited br Fr Chris, an ex-pupil who followed his vocation into priesthood. He celebrated a ‘talking Mass’ with us and then spoke to all KS1 classes. We had lots of other visitors to school too, two police officers (with different roles), a solicitor and a NHS worker, just to name a few. It was great to hear how these visitors inspired our children!
