Our Parish

St. Mark’s Catholic Primary School is part of Holy Name Parish on Cross Lane in Great Barr. The school and parish have strong links.

Regular weekday Masses are held in school which parishioners are invited to attend every Thursday morning at 9.00am. The children lead mass every week, with each class alternating. They are responsible for readings, bidding prayers, the offertory and the rest of the school act as a choir to offer their vocal support, too. Several boys and girls are altar servers on a regular basis.
